Wonderful Customer Review of Online & Virtual Training

Earlier this week, a customer who had just completed our CQI & IRCA Certified Blended ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor Training Course (No. 2244) left a review of their own experience. I absolutely loved it! Why?
This specialised course involves each Learner completing 16hrs of online, self-paced modules prior to completing 3-days of virtual workshops, followed by a final eAssessment (CQI & IRCA Examination). We are the only provider in the world offering this blended approach. Traditional learning is still the most common format for this training which would typically be 5-days in duration, or during the current Pandemic, this course may be delivered via virtual classrooms. This is an admittedly ‘intense’ topic and specialised training covering knowledge & skills for Auditor/Lead Auditors!
For me, I felt this review was simply wonderful as it represents a view that many should relate to, and one that I experience when promoting both online & blended training courses as a highly effective ‘alternative’ to traditional classroom training in this Industry. Many people have reservations about online & virtual training and I feel this is largely down to the fact that this is ‘new’ and ‘not what they might be used to’ but it can surprise you. Of course, a person might also have had a bad experience with online training in the past – but I feel overall, things are very different now.
This Learner was honest about their ‘fear’ prior to completing a virtual learning course and that “you will be pleasantly surprised” as it wasn’t what was expected!
This review was left by a Senior Manager of Global Supplier Quality in a leading, well-known Medical Device Company in Ireland:
“I really enjoyed participating in this course, the combination of on-line self managed learning, virtual classroom, continuous assessment, team based learning, role play and quizzes was very interactive and kept the course moving along at pace.
Virtual training certainly requires an adjustment but if you are concerned about sitting staring at a screen all day there is no need you will be pleasantly surprised at how different virtual learning can be.
For me the course materials and structure were really good but the tutors who were very experienced and knowledgeable brought it all together. They were very willing to engage and share their experience and conveyed the intent of the standard/approach in a very meaningful and practical way.
I can’t thank the team enough for the learning opportunity and getting me over my virtual learning fears!!!”
For me, it says it all. Thank you!
